Spokane's Pig Out in the ParkPig out in the Park. An anticipated end of summer Labor Day celebration, here in Spokane’s Riverfront Park. 6 days of Great Food and Entertainment.

Do you have a favorite food? How about some Vietnamese, Japanese, German, Koren, Hawaiian, French, Spanish, Russian, Jordanian. You may find a new one with the many choices from the more than 40 different restaurant vendors who bring one of the largest cultural events to Spokane, with so many authentic food choices even the most picky eater can find something to their liking.

Food is only half of the celebration. The musical entertainment really is top notch, and again so much variety that there is something for everyone. You can plan ahead by checking out the Bands for this years event along with the times and locations of their performances. The organizer Bill Burke talks about Kenny Chesney performing at Pig Out and 6 months later Kenny became an overnight success. Since the reputation of Pig Out has grown over the years they are able to attract some great bands such as WAR, John Mayall, Tower of Power and Bo Diddley to name a few. This year Bill writes that Rick Derringer (Rock and Roll Hoochie Coo) will be a returning.

The best part to this Great Event is – it’s FREE!
